Telecoms, BT, TV and Data Sockets and Installations

Many of our customers contact us to install or make changes to their telephone, television, BT and data sockets. They appreciate the friendliness and courtesy of our experienced, professional CRB-checked, ECS safety-carded electrical engineers who can help with the following:

    Telecoms

If your landline telephones stop working, the first thing to do is check for any line faults directly with your provider. If you are told there is no fault, then call us for advice. We can check your internal wiring and save you a substantial call out charge that is often typical with telecoms providers. The latest telephone line-box sockets now give access that makes it easy for us to connect and disconnect the phones from your internal electrical system to deal with any faults or install new wiring.

    TV Sockets

Perhaps you’d like your TV cabling extended or new sockets installed to connect a smart TV or viewing box to the internet. We keep our engineers trained and up to date on the latest TV systems so they have a wealth of knowledge and can give you all the advice you need to get the most out of your home entertainment.

    Data / Internet Sockets

Call EF Electrical when you need extra telephone or data sockets installed including BT sockets, anywhere in the house so that you can easily connect to the internet. We won’t keep you waiting. Our engineers will respond quickly and have them in place in record time.

Call EF Electrical on 020 8444 5630 if you have problems with telecoms, BT, TV or data sockets or would like new sockets installed.

Before you call a professional, check all the cable connections at the back of the set. Some people forget about doing this, but if one has worked loose and interfered with their reception, they’re paying for an engineer to do something they could easily do themselves.

Your broadband won’t work without a micro filter fitted on all your phone connections to divide the line into two channels that will not interfere with each other. You can buy micro filters from our electrical shop at 115 High Road, East Finchley.

If you have a service agreement, naturally you will call your supplier. Otherwise you can avoid hefty call-out charges by calling us. We don’t have a call-out fee and only charge for the time it takes to do the work.

Yes, we will and in person too at our electrical shop if you’d prefer to call in. And if you can fix a problem yourself with our guidance, we are happy to help that way with no charge. We just hope you will call us again for any other electrical work you need.
