Hosted Voice over IP, allows calls to be made over the internet at a greatly reduced cost.

Once you have registered for a hosted IP service, you will be given a new telephone number

(Or you can ask for your existing telephone number to be transferred on to this service instead).

You can then receive and make calls, just like you would from a standard analogue telephone devise.

The main differences between a Hosted IP phone and a standard analogue phone are as follows

You can take a Hosted IP phone anywhere there is access to a broadband connection.

An analogue phone is tried to one location.

You can add, additional phones to your account, and you can set the service to ring all of the phones at the same time, or you can set the phones to ring within a certain order.

With our supplier, for a small monthly charge, you can even add your hosted service to your mobile phone, allowing you to make calls from your mobile using a Wi-Fi connection instead of using your mobile minutes.

The called party will see your home / office number instead of your mobile number.

You can also receive calls to you mobile phone, if someone calls your home / office number.

A standard BT residential analogue line costs £17.99 per month to rent.

A fully hosted IP service with call plan costs only £11 per month to rent.

Our hosted Call plans allows free calls to all UK landline numbers, at anytime. 

Reduced call rates of 2p or less to UK based mobile numbers.

Hosted SIP Trunks

Unlike Hosted VoIP, Hosted SIP trunks are often used by companies with more than 10 members of staff.

A hosted SIP trunk works just like an ISDN channel, and just like ISDN, it needs to connect to a compatible telephone system.

For the last few years, all new telephone systems have been IP compatible, and therefore able to connect to the new SIP services, however it is only in the last couple of years that the standard broadband service has been fully up to the task of allowing multi-SIP trunk connection.

A standard SIP trunk = £6.00 per month to rent

An ISDN channel = £15 per month to rent,

Therefore if you had 4 ISDN channels or 4 analogue lines, your rental would have been £60 + vat per month, whereas with SIP, it would now only be £24 per month (A saving of over £400 PA).
